Jeff Tanenbaum is the founder and President of Remarketing Associates, Inc. and Rock the Gavel. Through his companies, Jeff boasts a rich history of providing disposition solutions, auction consulting and auctioneering services to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and small businesses to non-profit organizations and start-up auction ventures.
For more than 20 years, Jeff has earned a reputation as a leader and nationally recognized adviser in all aspects of the auction profession. He has provided strategic and operational expertise in the planning, marketing and execution of complex projects and events.
As a master of the art of auctioneering, Jeff has dropped the gavel on more than $500 million of personal and real property and proclaimed “Sold” more than 200,000 times in his career. Jeff is an entertaining, energetic and skillful auctioneer.
Jeff earned his Certified Auctioneers Institute designation in 1998 and his Certified Estate Specialist designation in 2004. He is a member of the National Auctioneers’ Association and is a Trustee of the Southern California Auctioneers’ Association. In 2003, Jeff was given the honor of judging the International Auctioneer Championship. He has also been interviewed on a number of news broadcasts and participated as a panelist on an auction radio program in the Los Angeles market.
Jeff serves on the Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes and has personally chaired numerous benefit auction events in his community. He resides in Westlake Village, California with his wife and two children.
